Sofia Vassilieva flashes a bright smile as she attends the 2011 Princess Grace Awards Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street on Tuesday (November 1) , 2011 in NYC.
The 19-year-old college student and actress kept it simple in a black trench and a slick ponytail.
Sofia came out to support Julie Andrews, whom she starred with in Eloise at the Plaza. Julie was honored with the Prince Rainier III Award for her outstanding contribution to motion picture, television and theater arts.
The award is presented to eminent artists who have not only been highly successful in their careers, but have made significant humanitarian contributions to their fields. All award recipients receive a $25,000 grant, which will be donated to select charitable organizations benefiting children.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sofia will be guest starring on an episode of Law & Order: SVU soon — she’ll play a young woman who claims to have been raped.
